Garlic and Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
3 medium sized Yukon Gold potatoes $1.00
1/4 cup milk $0.04
1/4 cup New Zealand Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated* $0.75
2 gloves garlic, minced $0.20
1 1/2 tablespoons butter $0.08
Salt and pepper, to taste $free (ish)

Peel the potatoes and cut them into smaller chunks. Put the potatoes in a saucepan with 4-5 cups of water. Bring the water to a boil on the stove (adding some crushed sea salt before it comes to a boil.) Let this boil for 15-20 minutes, or until it is easy to stick a fork in the biggest potato chunk.
Drain the potatoes and add them to a mixing bowl. Mash them with the rest of the ingredients and serve immediately (or keep them as warm as you can in the meantime.) ENJOY!
