Brie with Pesto and Toasted Pine Nuts

This is the absolute fastest way to get tasty brie on the table, and has quickly become a new favorite in our house. It’s not baked, it’s not fancy…it’s just good, simple ingredients that combine to make a really tasty bite.

For the ingredients, I’m not putting amounts, because you can make this as big or small as you like… for the picture above, we used about 3 tablespoons of pesto, and 1/4 cup pine nuts, and I think that’s about 6 ounces of brie…

Place brie on a serving dish, cover with pesto.

Toast pinenuts at 350 degrees for 4-5 minutes. (Watch carefully, they brown quickly!)

Cover brie with toasted pine nuts. Serve with water crackers and a smile.

  1. It looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing. You could also try to heat the brie on a non-stick pan until it starts to slightly melt.

  2. Ann Jefferson had this at her fancy party recently – a big hit – she said thanks for the great idea!
