a couple pieces of italian bread, cut into small rectangles (think bite-sized)…you can also use a baguette cut into rounds…
1 apple (Fuji and Gala are our favorites…)
a little prosciutto (we buy ours at Trader Joes)
2 Tablespoons butter
Lay the bread pieces on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and pop into a 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes, just so they’re warm and a little crisp.
Cut the apple into thin slices (aim for the same size as the bread pieces.)
Add butter to a small saucepan over medium heat, let melt. Saute the apple pieces in the butter for about 3 minutes on each side, or until slightly browned.
Lay one apple slice onto a bread piece, and cover with a small piece of prosciutto. Bite. chew. swallow. YUM.
ENJOY!
