Corndogs!

1 egg, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup cornmeal

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 c. whole wheat flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 Tbsp. sugar

kabob skewers

Skewer hot dogs. Mix together all ingredients. (You can add interesting seasonings/dried herbs to the batter if desired.)

Dip hotdogs into the batter and fry in hot oil until brown. Let cool slightly – and enjoy!
