1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans (this can be an overflowing cup)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream together the butter and sugar, then add the eggs one at a time in a large mixing bowl. Add syrup, vanilla, and pecans. Stir together well, then pour into your pie shell. Bake for an hour or until the pie barely jiggles when you shake it and it’s nice and brown on top. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream and ENJOY!
