Five B’s

Makes two cocktails

6 basil leaves

1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

1/2 oz. balsamic vinegar

4 oz. bourbon

6 oz. ginger beer

Muddle 4 basil leaves with the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar in a cocktail shaker.

Add the bourbon and ice.

Shake vigorously.

Strain over 1 ice cube into two highball glasses.

Top off with 3 oz of ginger beer per glass.

Add a basil leaf for garnish.

This recipe is based off of the “Bufala Negra” at H.Harper Station in Atlanta. They don’t publish quantities, so we guessed.
