This sauce is fresh, easy, and tasty. It’s also really versatile – drizzle it over our Lemon Bundt Cake, or over vanilla ice cream, or even pancakes – yum!
This recipe makes enough for four servings.
3/4 cup fresh blueberries $0.75
1/4 cup sugar $o.20
1 teaspoon cornstarch $0.01
2 tablespoons water $free
Total Cost = $0.96 (so frugal!)
Combine the blueberries and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat. Let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the water. Add to blueberry mixture and stir over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly. Drizzle over just about anything, and ENJOY!
