We celebrated Julia Child’s 100th Birthday in style. Our friends brought the first course and dessert, and we made the main course. We drank plenty of red wine (yes, it was from France), and listened to Charles Trenet radio on Pandora.
I laid the menu above and a picture of Julia at each place setting. I was slightly worried that I was going overboard, but either they lied to me or our guests actually liked it.
I forgot to take pictures of our first course and dessert, but here’s a picture I snapped quickly (the lighting is awful) of our main course. We put all of the steaks on one big platter and just passed it around. So easy.
It was super fun to celebrate her birthday with good friends. For her 101st birthday, though, we just might have to go to France!
