You really can’t go wrong with the following recipe: (1) Buy tuna steaks (2) season with salt and pepper (3) sear for 60 seconds on each side. (4) eat. It’s just so good.
We also like to be a little bit more creative when preparing our favorite meals, and hopefully will provide some more interesting information on the blog. So, we took a similar idea from the last time we ate seared tuna but this time included an asian-inspired marinade.
The simple marinade was a really interesting contrast to the mango salsa version we ate back in May. It added some great flavors to both the fish and the accompaniements, but did take away a little of the fresh, crunchy clean flavors of the mango salsa. Try them both and let us know what you think!
