This is one of those dishes that we hesitate to put on the blog… it’s likely you’ve made this before… it’s likely you know how to do this already…but we figure it’s tasty and versatile (not to mention easy and perfect for summer entertaining).
You can eat this as is, fruit with cream, or use it to top a piece of pound cake or angel food cake, too! You could also switch up the fruit if for some reason you don’t like strawberries and blueberries. Stick with berries though – they work best.
Like I said – simple, not wow-factor material….but good. Oh, and this just happens to be red, white, and blue, too! Happy belated birthday, America!
