Our new house has a porch. Our old house didn’t have a porch (or closets or a pantry or a dining room – but that’s beside the point). So even though our new porch is only about 8 feet by 12 feet, it has been amazing – and we love it. If it’s a pretty day, we eat breakfast on the porch, have drinks after work, and even eat dinner out there… until the mosquitos get too bad and I have to go inside.
This pasta was the perfect dinner to have out on the porch. It’s light and healthy and summery… and perfectly porch-appropriate. Monday is the official first day of summer – so, go celebrate with a yummy meal. Happy Summer!

(If you are a good gardener, we need help deciding which potted plants will survive on the porch. It gets LOTS of sun in the morning, and is shady starting around 3pm.)
