Hanger Steak Medallions with Balsamic Reduction

Ah! Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve posted anything new! Remember Bottom Row Night? Well…the (amazing) job started this week, and Gardner’s still drowning in law school exam prep. Blah. Enough excuses, though – here’s a great recipe.

When I was leaving my last job, one of my sweet coworkers gave me some fancy Balsamic Vinegar. yum, and thanks, Paulette! We have plans to macerate strawberries, but first, we decided to make a balsamic reduction for a steak dinner. And….it was delicious. I love the way balsamic vinegar tastes when it’s reduced into a thick sauce – we’ve done this with scallops, and now steak, and who knows what’s next!
