Did you grow up with rules about how many bites of vegetables you had to eat? I remember childhood friends who were required to “eat their age” in the number of green beans/brussel sprouts/asparagus spears on their plates. I don’t remember that being a rule in our house, because no matter what, it was important to be a member of the “clean plate club.”
I actually wouldn’t mind eating my age in these green beans. I’d happily eat my age in brussel sprouts, too. Is that weird? Would you eat your age in these beans?
