It’s hard to imagine anything with the words “cabernet sauce” in the title as not tasting good. We happened to find this recipe while browsing on Food & Wine’s website, and waited until veal chops went on sale at the local grocery store. Then we pounced on a good deal, and we are so happy we did.
This recipe has a few variations from the Food & Wine recipe, mostly to bring four servings down to two. Food & Wine recommends a marinade for the veal, and we cut this step out to save time and money. If you’re thinking ahead and want to marinate, see the original recipe for their technique.
