We got a big box of grapefruits just before Christmas (thank you David and Becky and family!!), which provided us with a fun challenge of extending grapefruits beyond the “breakfast with a spoon” approach. Looking through old Bon Appetit magazines, we found a great recipe for Avocado and Grapefruit salad, but we tweaked it a little bit.
Most of you are probably wondering about the title of this salad, and we have answers for you. No, it doesn’t have any mayonnaise-y sauce that you would normally find with fish.
