Seared Sea Scallops with Balsamic Reduction

This recipe is simple and delicious – there are just a few ingredients, just a few steps, and at the end of about 30 minutes of work, you’ll hopefully be very pleased with what you’ve come out with.

We had this for dinner the other night with a salad, but we were also thinking that it could be a very elegant first course for a fancy dinner. This presentation and size isn’t your answer if you’re really hungry, but for a light dinner or appetizer, you’re on the right track.
